We are motivated and guided by the noble aim of contributing distinctively to the educational issues of national and international importance through the discussions, debate and interactions especially in areas of teacher education, teacher training, educational research and consultancy. A group of promising teacher educators willing to work for the cause of the upliftment of the human society through education have established this national-level society of teacher educators with the distinctive goal of promoting and making the discipline of teacher education an innovative experience.
